If you are looking for a car that is affordable, then the smart car price might be the right price for you. Although these cars are much, much smaller than most other cars, this helps manufacturers keep the prices down enough to encourage people to buy them.
Even though the smart car is not exactly on the market in the United States until 2008, the average price for one of these Mercedes cars will run about $15,000. Of course, the total smart car price will depend also on what kinds of extra features or amenities are also included or added.
While the Mercedes car is the most recent car to hit the market that is considered to be a “smart car,” there are a couple of other types that are currently available.
The Mini Cooper costs around $17,000 and the Toyota Yaris can be purchased for less than $11,000. If you are talking about finding the car that will best help keep the prices down around the gas pump, it may be best to go with the Mercedes smart car. It gets 40 miles per gallon, while the other two get 37 and 31 miles per gallon, respectively.
So, the smart car price may be low enough to generate some interest, but in the end, it’s performance will be the deciding factor to help determine if it will continue to be purchased or not.
